Why We Publish Our Prices

There is a quiet ritual in the matchmaking industry, and almost every service performs it.

You find a matchmaker. Their website speaks beautifully of connection, of love, of finding the one. It tells you a great deal — about their philosophy, their process, their elegance. It tells you one thing it will not put in writing: the price.

To learn that, you must book a call. You must give your time, sit through a consultation, and only at the end of it learn the figure. And often, the figure is not fixed. It shifts — quietly shaped by how you present, what you appear to earn, how much the service believes it can ask of you.

We decided, early on, that The Courtship Bureau would not do this.

Our prices are published openly, on our website, for anyone to read. Every tier. Every figure. You will never need to book a call to discover what we cost, and you will never be quoted a number that depends on how you look on the day.

We do this for a simple reason: we think hidden pricing is a quiet form of disrespect.

When a price is concealed, the person considering it is placed at a disadvantage before the relationship has even begun. They cannot compare. They cannot reflect privately. They cannot decide, calmly and in their own time, whether this is right for them. They must enter a sales conversation simply to be informed — and a sales conversation is rarely a fair place to think clearly.

We would rather you decided in your own home, with no one watching. We would rather you read our prices, sat with them, and came to us only when you had genuinely chosen to. A member who arrives that way arrives clear-eyed, and a clear-eyed beginning is the only kind worth having.

Transparency is not a marketing gesture for us. It is the first promise we make — and the way we make every promise that follows believable.

If a service will not tell you what it costs, it is worth asking, gently, what else it would prefer you did not know.
